Overview

Carmex Trailers, a company with over 30 years of experience, has built long-standing relationships with its clients by consistently delivering high-quality products. ​

The challenge was to graphically express that Carmex remains the same high-end company while continuing to evolve and innovate. This evolution is not just reflected in its products but also in its approach to visual communication, ensuring that the brand remains relevant and forward-thinking while staying true to its roots

Through my creative direction, we crafted a brand presence that truly reflects Carmex’s identity. We incorporated a logo redesign, videos, renders, and images into the new web design to showcase Carmex’s high standards visually. Using 3D renders was a strategic choice, as it allowed us to create content more efficiently—a practical solution given the size and logistical challenges of shooting large trailers. This approach ensures that Carmex’s forward-thinking and innovative spirit is effectively communicated, while also staying true to the brand’s roots.

Approach

For the Carmex Trailers project, the primary challenge was to create a practical and efficient way to document and present their products without the logistical difficulties of traditional photography. Given the size and complexity of the trailers, moving them for photoshoots and handling heavy equipment was neither time-effective nor cost-efficient.

The solution was design-driven, leveraging 3D rendering and animation to provide a visually appealing, lightweight, and easily accessible alternative. By creating a 3D animation video for the landing page, the brand's digital presence was enhanced with dynamic and engaging content. Additionally, digitally rendering the trailers allowed for the creation of detailed and customizable catalogs without the need for physical manipulation of the products. This approach not only streamlined the documentation process but also provided a scalable and modern solution that improves accessibility and user experience.
